About Us

Julie Byam, founder of Carrot Publishing and Press is a published author and poet, who is passionate about helping others to achieve their writing goals. She has over 30 years experience of writing fiction and poetry and to date,  has published two childrens books, two novels and a book of poetry, as well as contributing to poetry antholologies. Julie is currently editing the next book that she will publish through the imprint Carrot Press.

As well as writing fiction and poetry, Julie has over 20 years experience of working within the academic, local government and business sectors, working on research projects, system and web development and more recently as a committee clerk. She has a high level of diplomacy integrity and is passionate about ensuring that work is undertaken to the highest possible standard.
